Delicious creamy rolled oats, great pre-bike ride breakfast.
Ingredients for a 2 person serving:
- 1 cup of rolled Oats (not quick oats)
- 1/4 cup of Raisins
- 1 and 1/2 cup of Water
- 1/2 cup of Milk.
- pinch of Salt
- 0.5 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
Steps:
- Mix ingredients in cooking pan.
- Bring to a boil
- Let simmer for 20 mins (no bubbles), stir occasionally
- Ready to serve.
- Like to jazz it up with a fruit / maple syrup mix, some yoghurt and granola
